Dr Bernd Markscheffel


Bernd Markscheffel is Akademischer Rat at the Chair of Information and Knowledge Management at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Media at Technische Universität Ilmenau. He received a Diploma degree in Semiconductor Physics and Electronics from TH Ilmenau, graduated in Information Science and received a doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) in Applied Informatics.

His main research and teaching interests include the broad range of the analytical potential of information in its complete life cycle, from semantic modelling to information retrieval as well as its practical application in Digital Libraries, Ontologies and Science Policy.

Since 2007 he is COLLNET member and an active part of the COLLNET community. Furthermore he plays an active role at the ICITST conference series on Information Security, which he led as General Chair in 2010. Actually as Chair of the Steering Committee he is responsible for all organizational aspects of the 10th International Conference on Web metrics, Informatics, and Scientometrics (WIS) and the 15th COLLNET Meeting 2014 which will be held from 3 to 5 September 2014 in Ilmenau, Germany.


Dr. Anish Nagpal
Dr. Anish Nagpal is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing in the Department of Management and Marketing at the University of Melbourne. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Masters Degree in Economics, and a PhD Degree in Marketing.

He graduated from the University of Houston with a PhD in Marketing in July 2005. His research interests are principally in the area of consumer behavior, and more specifically in information and task framing, customization, decision conflict, and food consumption. He has presented his papers in several International conferences, such as Association for Consumer Research, European Marketing Academy Conference, and Society for Consumer Psychology.

He teaches Marketing Management, and Brand Management at the post-graduate and undergraduate levels. He is currently the PhD Co-Director for the Department of Management and Marketing.

Prof. Stephen Christensen


Prof. Stephen Christensen serves as the dean of the school of business and executive vice president at Concordia University Irvine (www.cui.edu ). He is a higher education veteran who plans and organizes strategic growth initiatives. He specializes in working with CEOs, business owners, entrepreneurs and leaders to start and grow educational initiatives. A native of New York City, Stephen has over 30 years experience in southern California having worked at four different universities, three private businesses and five non-profit organizations. His diversified leadership experiences help organizations achieve their growth initiatives, external relations, fund raising and business development goals.

Since 2001, Stephen has been serving Concordia University (www.cui.edu). His current position is dean of the School of Business and executive vice president. He previously served as executive vice president for external relations and special assistant to the president.

From July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2008, he served as executive vice president for university advancement and senior advisor to the president at Concordia University. Prior to joining Concordia, from May 1995 to June 2001, he served as vice president for university relations at Chapman University, Orange CA. Prior to leading Chapman’s university relations program, Stephen served as the executive director of university development at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) from July 1992 to April 1995. Prior to CSUSB, Stephen was vice president and senior consultant with the Robert B. Sharp Company Inc., August 1989 to June 1992.



Dr. A. K. Sinha
Prof(Dr.) A. K. Sinha, and alumni of IIT-Delhi has vast experience of working as a Professor of Electrical Engineering & IT. His major contribution is in the areas of Advance Control System, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Image Processing. He has guided many M.Tech & Ph.D scholars in the fields of stochastic and fuzzy modeling, development of AI – based expert systems & Digital Image Processing.

Dr. Sinha had been associated with many of the research projects sponsored by DST, AICTE, & Planning Commission, Govt. of India. He is one of the members of the Advisory Board of Universal Systems Technology,Inc,USA . He has published around 80 research papers in various prominent international Journals and organized several workshops and conferences. He acted as a Resource Person and Session Chair to deliver Technical & Keynote talk at many national and international conferences and visited USA, UK and Germany, etc in this regards.

Currently he has been associated as an mentor & expert resource person with many technical institutions and IT industry.


Professor Takashi Watanabe
Professor Takashi Watanabe is a full time Professor at department of Business Administration Management of Teikyo Heisei University, (https://www.thu.ac.jp/teacher_info_admin/profiles/detail/2317 ) Japan. He is also a Founder & CEO of Life Balance Management Institute, Japan (http://www.lifebalance.co.jp/). A visiting Professor/Lecturer at Wuhan University of Technology University, Northwestern Polytechnical University、Shanghai Normal University, and Shenyang University in China and Waseda University and Ochanomizu Univerisity in Tokyo. Professor Takashi Watanabe is a good speaker and motivator.

He has also been associated with Japanese Association of Industrial Counseling and other academic society as board member, and delivered more than nine hundred academic and public lectures. He wrote more than ten books in Japan and China, Taiwan and is one of the most frequently referred personnel on major magazines and newspapers, TV and radio programs such as NHK and TBS. .

Professor Takashi Watanabe is also known as top ranked executive business coach in Japan.


Dr. D. C. Jhariya


Dr. D. C. Jhariya is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Geology, National Institute of Technology, Raipur (Chhattisgarh). He joined the Department of Applied Geology, National Institute of Technology, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) as a faculty member in 2009. Dr. D.C.Jhariya completed his M.Tech and PhD from the Department of Applied Geology (Faculty of Engineering), Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh (Formerly University of Sagar).

He is the Recipients of "Siksha Rattan Award” by Dr. Bhisma Narain Singh Fromer Governor of Tamilnadu and Assam at a Seminar on Economic growth and National Integration organized by India international Friendship Society at New Delhi on 15th April, 2013 for his outstanding contribution in the field of education and Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF-2008-09), University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi, Government of India towards Doctoral Research during Year 2008. Dr. D.C. Jhariya is the Life member of the GSI, IAH, ISRS, SAAEG, IAGD, GARC and Honorary Life Fellow Member of Scientific Society of Advanced Research and Social Change.

Dr. Rashmi Walvekar
Dr. Rashmi Walvekar is presently working as a Full time lecturer at department of Chemical Engineering in Taylors University Lakeside Campus, Malaysia.

She worked as research and teaching assistance at International Islamic University Malaysia, as a Graduate research assistant in University Putra Malaysia, and as an Operation Executive, in Travelex India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. She has been awarded Ph.D from Department of Biotechnology Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia, M.Sc(Chemical Engineering) from Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering Universiti Putra Malaysia, and BE(Chemical Engineering) from Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad, Karnataka, India.

Her research interest is in Newtonian and Non-Newtonian fluids, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Rheology of complex fluids, Multiphase Flows, nanoparticle characterization and application, Nanofluids and Heat Transfer, Tribology of nanolubricants.

Dr. Karbhari Vishwanath Kale


Professor Dr. K. V. Kale is a pioneer in the field of Computer Science and Engineering having more than 25 years of teaching and research experience. He is a member & Faculty of Board of Studies of various universities in India & has designed and implemented new courses in computer science at UG & PG level. He is recipient of VIJAY SHREE Award. He is actively engaged in research and development. He has more than 240 research papers to his credit which are published in reputed national/international journals and conferences. He has published 4 books that are widely circulated in various universities. Under his able guidance 21 PhD students have completed their PhD and 9 students are still doing PhD under his guidance. He has organized several workshops and conferences. He acts as a Resource Person and Session Chair to deliver Technical & Keynote talk at national and international conferences and visited USA, Canada, UK and France, etc in this regards. His areas of interests are Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Biometrics, Bioinformatics, S/W Engg., Artificial Intelligence, Computer vision, Neural Networks etc.

Being, a Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (MS), India, he has received faith and trust in leading his prestigious institution on different domains particularly in education and research.


Dr. Dinithi C. Peiris
Dr Dinithi C. Peiris, a Ph.D from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. In the area of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. She is having more than 20 years of academic & research experience in her credit. She is also involved in Post-Doctoral Research work in the division of Gastroenterology, Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. (On sabbatical leave). Presently she is a senior academician at Department of Zoology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She has worked as a Research Fellow at Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia, BC, Canada.

She is currently associated with the following project:

Genotoxic effects and biochemical effects of ethaphon on male rats.
